Get Traffic

Hi,

I have an employment website that I need to get more traffic to. It has google adsense ads and some click bank and commission junction products (and of course job classifieds). I don't have alot of $$ for advirtisements, but I am willing to put in the effort it takes to make this site a success.

My question is, with very limited funds, what are the best IM techniques for me to apply? I am a novice at IM, so if you could include how and where I learn to do them it would be greatly appreciated.

Nice site Vicki, The bottom line is you need to get back links to your site to get it ranked higher in the search engines. There are a number of ways to do that and you can find many ways to do it just from reading post here at the Warrior Forum.

Many people use article marketing, they write an article place it in an article directory and the link you add in the article resource box points back to your website. It takes a lot of articles so it is a lot of work, but that is just one way it can be done.

If you don't like writing, just look around the forum and you will find other ways of getting back links.

Hi Vicki

I use a site called trafic bug that for $20 a month does all your socila bookmarking and link building stuff. It is very easy to use and seems to be going pretty well. It have got me a dozen backlinks for my site this week.

I have been using the site for around a month.

I do not recommend traffic bug. I've tested it and it's 'weak' compared to many alternatives (free and paid)

There are so many people that will help you with traffic on this thread, so I'll talk about putting more $$$ in your pocket.

Your adsense ads are totally buried. You need to be putting them at the top or within your article content. The bottom right and bottom left sidebars will get you maybe 1 out of 50 clicks rather than 1 out of 3, 4, 5 (just depends on your niche).

Okay, I'll give two free backlinks suggestions (i use a lot of paid, but these do work)...

1. Sign up for a free account at Free Traffic System. Put a few articles through there and follow their tutorials and you will see some good results in 2-4 weeks if you're going after the right keywords and using the appropriate anchor text.

2. Create simple software and submit to software directories. Head to ø Blue Hat SEO-Advanced SEO Tactics ø and type in "software backlinks" into the search and you should find a good article there on it.

BlueHatSeo is some of the best, free, and really advanced backlinking techniques, but get ready spend a few hours digesting each post

Try using Free Traffic System in conjuction with article writing. So far, this has been something which works a lot for me.

Advertise on Job sites available on Google content network to get targeted traffic.

You can advertise on blogs which blog about jobs and careers. You can use entrecard for this or easyhits4u.
