Anyone know how I can extract audio out of an mp4 file?

Hey guys,

I have been trying this for the past few hours and it just won't budge. I tried several converters both online and offline. None of them are able to convert the file. I even tried using iTunes to convert the file to a wav (couldn't do it because the option was grayed out).

Does anyone know of a software or a service that will allow me to extract the audio to a wav or mp3 file from an mp4 file?

Any help would be appreciated. The file is about 4.5 mb & 58 sec. long.

Yeah for Mac users I use Audio HiJak. For Windows im not so sure. I think quicktime pro might do it.

Try Goldwave. Play the mp4 have goldwave on and hit the record button on goldwave and play on the mp4

Why not just plug a jumper headset cable from the headset jack into the mic jack and use any .wav recorder software while playing the .mp4 That will do the trick.
