Logged in and I see that I'm one of the Top Referrers! Woot

I always brag about the WF. I love the stats though - seeing hot topics, etc.

By the way how are you referring people Tiffany?

Using the invitation system or some other way?

Most members can't find their referral url so I was just wondering how you are getting the point when you refer someone.

Hey Allen, what happened to the insults thread? I don't think I got my
money's worth.

All kidding aside, I noticed the stats up top when I was changing forums,
which I don't do often as I spend most of my time in general discussion
unless I'm in OT posting another stupid music video from my youth.

Got any other surprises in store for us?

Like maybe another contest that I won't win?

We have referral URLs? Darn. One of my products has a link to the WF in
it but it's just a generic link.

I don't even want to know how many referrals I would have gotten with
all the copies I've sold.

Oh well, another area where I've dropped the proverbial ball.

Oh hell I don't know - I thought you did! I was just wondering how you could track that. Usually, I email my list about a certain post or WSO maybe but I also have it on my Squidoo lenses and on my blogs. It's also in almost all of my eBooks.

So how is it tracking that it's me? I normally just cut and paste the URL to a specific post or create a hyperlink to WarriorForum.com, so I really refer more than what it's tracking I'm sure. Let me know when you find out because if there's a better way to be a top referrer, I'll do it.

Here's how to find your referral ID and url...

Two ways:

One is just to send yourself an invitation to join the forum to another email address of yours. You will see your code # in there.

Another is to click on thread tools and then on email this post...your ID # is in there also...

Two images attached as examples below...

My URL for example would be:

The important thing to remember is that your Username is NOT your referral ID, only the number is...

I had thought about giving away monthly prizes to one or two of the months top referrers but quickly decided against it. It would be overrun with spammers in no time trying to get to the top.

The goobers always kill good things..

I was just going to start a thread saying I preferred the stats at the bottom where they were, then spotted Tiffany's thread.

There are some benefits to it being "in your face," but I'm not here to look at the stats and knew where to scroll down and find them if I wanted.

They're easy enough to turn off with a single click, if you don't like looking at them. ****, complaining took more time than that.

Go into the UserCP and click Edit Details. At the bottom of the page in the Additional Information section there is a field to add your Twitter ID. Enter it and click save and it will then the listings will show up in your profile on the right-hand side.

I sent a couple emails your way that bounced about sharing the Warrior forum in PowerPoint slides recently at some workshops. But the emails bounced back, so I'm PMing them here, if you could reply back, please.

I'd PMed another Warrior, then found it didn't get through when we had a phone chat, so maybe it's my email that's causing communications issues.

Aha! I did not know that. I haven't had time to go through the forum cool things. My WSOs are still ugly - all I know how to do is bold in black. lol. But I'll learn. I like the stats being up top, too. I never scrolled down (well sometimes).
