Uncommon Success Story...
I finally made a significant sum of money online.. But its not through email marketing, nor is it affiliate marketing, cross out adsense, nada CPA, absolutely not blogging.
I made a couple of hundreds a few days ago, through delivering website copy content.
A little about myself.. I have been actively doing internet marketing for about 4~5 months coming.. Tried all sorts of techniques, ranging from building lists to instant paypal payments, all the way to clicking on $0.01 ads...
I know that patience is a virtue, but in reality, I was kinda impatient... I couldn't wait for adsense to pay me, tried to up the clicks by asking my friends to click on them, eventually got banned. haha..:p
Every time I felt like giving up, I came back to this forum, read a success story by someone else, and I felt rejuvenated again. This forum was critical in motivating me to continue on marketing online.
Had some initial success with a Pay to Click site, earned about US$7.90, got myself an ice-cream cone to celebrate. From then on, I pushed myself even further to find out what I really want to specialize in...
You see, internet marketing is a very broad subject. You can be a specialist in a certain area like PPC or CPA, and you will earn money if you are determined enough. But if you decide to be jack of all trades, never master any, you will never earn enough to make a living.:rolleyes:
So please for goodness sake, explore everything quickly, decide on one method, and master that method! You'll never complain about not making money online ever again!
As for me, I discovered a method that gets 100% of my articles into ezinearticles (product), and that there is demand for high quality articles, so I started offering my services to create originals and re-writes at an affordable rates. Earned about $50 (up to date)
Realized that although this is a much viable method comparing to clicking on ad.s, I still believe there is a demand out there somewhere which I am passionate about and yet I can quite a sum from it.
Then I discovered copywriting. Everything start to roll... I love to write, and I like to sell, and I more better with the written word than speaking it out. Combining this two passions, it fits exactly into doing copy writing!
I immediately went down to the local library and search for books on copywriting... After researching for about 2~3 weeks, I started offering copy writing services.
One of my previous article client offered me an opportunity to re-write a website copy. I accepted it, spent about 1~2 days researching and analyzing, and another 2 days to finish my first draft, spent one whole day reviewing and editing it.
Submitted it to my client, he was really pleased with my work, submitted it up to the director in charge. He too, was happy with my work. Approved my paycheck, and poof~! $300 in my paypal account!
Finally... I am now working on another project that involves me doing up all the copy work, totally busy, but totally worth it.
To people who haven't made money doing internet marketing, persistence counts for everything. Decide on a method, and keep working on it until you see the fruits of your labor.
You are able to earn money online only if you persist and do not give up!
Finally, an advice in form of a poem I offer to every newcomer to internet marketing:
"Whenever you are feeling down, and you really just want to give it up;
hop by where the warriors stay, motivate yourself for a few more days."
"Never think of quiting, because it never solves anything;
The warriors' forum is here for a reason, and it is here to make you think."
"There are times when the world seems against you,
there are times you feel all alone.
When you are doing internet marketing,
make warriorforum your second home."
I wrote these poems and I give you the rights to do whatever you wish with them. Empower yourself with the knowledge that you are not alone when it comes to internet marketing. We're all behind you, supporting you.
Persist On!
Lastly, I really like to thank all the warriors here for every single significant contributions. Everything adds up, bit by bit, here and there.
Thank you, warriorforum.
Regards,
Edmund
