Ok, I bought Mass PPV and I was disappointed. The way it was advertised, they inferred you could get really cheap traffic.

I am seeing traffic at $.01-.02 per impression. At a 1% clickthrough rate, which the PPV companies they represent have told me might even be aggressive, you are talking upwards of $1-$2 per click. If you are trying to build a list or sell products, how does the math work?

How would getting PPC traffic on Google, Yahoo, or MSN not be cheaper?

Just wondering...

Thanks,

Mike

Some torrent sites charge $0.0002 per impression but you have to commit to minimum of $1000 advertising. These sites get crazy amounts of hits every day.

1c per impression is expensive unless the site is highly targetted to your product.

With PPV you have to be careful as many corporate companies use it for branding. Sites that are targetting to get corporates advertising have really crazy prices that are not meant for direct marketers.

Problem with torrent sites is that most people who use them aren't interested in buying. They are on those sites to avoid paying for stuff. I would not waste a $1000 advertising on those sites.

Question, under PPV, doesn't your landing page pop up under the url you selected? If so, it seems to be reasonable, however, I haven't tried it yet. But, I did purchase massppv because I trust the guys in Bobby and Adeel.

Have you tested a few different campaigns yet with PPV? If you aren't getting a good click through rate perhaps you need to amend your squeeze pages or even the urls you are bidding on. It could even be that you should look into a different niche. Mass PPV was only launched on Tuesday so I think you should give it a bit longer before you decide that its not working for you.

Hi Mike, you are working the numbers with PPV traffic, if you are driving lots of targeted traffic then your going to get more optins if you are paying the lowest per impression, as cheap as $0.01.

The mass ppv product gives you a few companies to place PPV with, one of them I used and even on competitive URLs and keywords I am still paying $0.01 and only needed to top up a min amount of $100. The main company used in the test campaign allows you to target by category for as little as $7 per 1000 impressions which is less than $0.01 per viewer.

Go for category targeted traffic, do not worry about bidding on URLs unless your niche is a micro niche and very very specific, remember its about the number of visitors and how fast you want the traffic, the more URLs you scrape the more traffic you can get but you need not use that for targeting with category based traffic available.
