What strategy do you suggest for LinkedIn Business page

Hello,

I am very involved with other social media's but recently more and more businesses want to increase the followers to their Linkedin Business Page.

When they already have a page with current followers I use to have it easier to engage them.

For the newly created pages, I have more difficulty to increase their followers.

I have experienced that when business owners ask the employees to follow and interact the audience responds faster and follows.

Do you use any other strategy?

    I have experienced similar problems. People don't follow companies on Linkedin easily. Content posted through company handles also has a lower reach.

    Off-topic - Have you considered changing the strategy ? Maybe, a personal Linkedin profile or a facebook company page would be easier to grow instead.

    It's really difficult to engage with a business page on LinkedIn, all you can do is share the relevant and useful content related to your niche, follow and like posts of your target audience, use hashtags, try all of them together for few days and then analyse the results.

    FollowLike.net (which I am not affiliate with in any way) includes LinkedIn . . . they offer real social signals, plus real visitors spending time on your site, so will give you social links for traffic, plus improving the time spent on your LinkedIn Page (which is an important ranking factor).

    You can either pay for their services (from $14) or join and exchange your time for time for their services.

    That's only one SEO factor out of many, but should help ranking (due to time spent on page, and social-signals which should match ranking, if you do other SEO) and get some direct traffic.

    Linkedin has come up with one more feature like Facebook where you are allowed to invite the friends to like the page of yours so it automatically increases the followers to your Linkedin alc page.
    I also suggest you be active in posting images with good content.
