Has anyone tried a video sales letter? I have heard it can really up conversion but I haven't put it on any of my sites yet. I just got weekly affiliate update email from Mike Geary of Truth About Abs which has a gravity over 350 on CB and he said he doubled his conversion rate by going to a video page. Hmm.... I'd love to hear anyone's experience with Video Skin pages or sales letter |

I think it depends on the audience. If your talking about abs, I'm sure people want to see abs more than they want to read about them. Some people don't like to read a long sales letter as well. You could offer both, people who like to read will read and people who want to watch the video will watch the video. Sounds good to me, but who knows, you'll probably have to test the different variations for each product. Hope this helped. |

| I think video sales letters can be implemented at this current time to achieve excellent results but it's one of those techniques that soon, everyone will begin using video sales letters and then the technique will become saturated and will lose it's effectiveness. I guess it depends on the kind of potential customer you're targeting, some people like to watch video when going through a sales letter while other like to read text in order to learn about a product or service. You can't keep everyone happy so just stick to the crowd that you know that you can constantly keep happy via whatever sales letter communication mechanism has worked best for you. |

SPLITTEST! Just try it, if nothing else you'll get experience... You can use Google Website Optimizer for split testing, it's pretty good |
