Default Can you optimize a refresh page?

Hey all, just wondering if you can optimize a refresh page, the reason I ask is because I have been given a website that I can't edit but I can have a refresh URL leading to it. Would google and other search engines even look at the META information on the refresh page or would it look at the destination?

Thanks

Sorry, I can't answer that question specifically. Can you load the webpage in a frame instead? I know G offers some information regarding frames.
