Default Found a niche

I found a really good niche that has high traffic and low competition . What to do now? Should I create an ebook and put it in clickbank? Whats the best way to do this?

Hi Moe,

yes you could do that you're suggesting. You may even look to create your ebook and find a complimentary product that you could offer both your ebook and this compliemtary product or service. This want you might even be able to give the ebook away for free and offer complimentary product as an upsell.

Maybe your ebook could satisfy the information and promote the other product. Right after they order, you might create a squeeze page to get their name and email address and begin marketing to the demographics of this new hot niche for future sales.

May want to create a squeeze page upfront then offer your complimetary product and then sqeeuze page on the back end before taking them to the downloadable product you promised upfront.

Good luck in your new niche,

Mark

You first need to know that keyword tools are not always accurate. There may be a reason that the there is little competition. On the other hand, you might have found a hidden gem.

Why not first point an Adwords campaign to a small but quality blog site you create for the testing. That way you can verify the potential traffic somewhat for the main keywords.

Do not create a product until you verify the niche's worthiness.

Determine (somehow) whether or not it's a buying niche. Well discovered, and apologies for sounding potentially negative, but some niches have high traffic and low competition for a reason.

Put a survey together and ppc campaign to see what this market
want to really know about it and find out if they are willing to pay
for it.

This would be faster than going through the motions which you
propose and faster.

If they are not willing to pay for it then you've saved a lot of time
which = $$$.

If they are willing to pay you will also pull the main appeal for this niche
and base your sales letter & ebook in that order. Greatest to least
wanted info/benefits.

If you use a email subscriber account to actually send the survey you
can hit the same list to sale too first and grab some fresh testimonials.

Are there other products being sold? Like a lot of people said, you have to check if there's a product to be sold. People could just be looking for free information.

There is no such thing as a non buying niche . There is something , somewhere relative to any niche .

Even the grumpy old men that refuse to buy online niche could be enticed by introducing them to the hot young girls who refuse to talk to you unless you buy me something online niche .

Okay . Pitiful example but there is a product for all niches if the traffic is right .

Thank you. You never know until you try, anyway. Even if your primary keyword has the word FREE in it, you could make good money... Persuasion doesn't start and stop with the first Google search.

For instance: "free computer tips" could become pre-sold traffic for a computer accessories affiliate program.

So what about people that do not have credit cards? Adsense works very well if you can get 20% + clickthrough (very easy).

You can make money in just about every niche.

I would almost bet the person searching for free computer tips owns .... are you ready for this ..... a computer .

Maybe a desk. Can't see well if they have no lighting at their desk.

People think that the freebie seeker niches don't pay because they gave away the number one secret in using a computer .

When the seeker opened the free report it said to properly use a computer you must locate the power button.

Give the freebie seeker some real value in the free stuff and most (not all) will purchase the advanced tips .

Drive traffic from all keywords you can relate to your product to your own site pages .

These pages promote your product .

Set up your own affiliate network

Promote this with an affiliate tips site . Actually teach your affiliates to sell for you .

You will probably not have as many affiliates promoting but the ones that do will be more proficient on average .

You also have full control over your affiliates this way . Can offer incentives .

Don't just jump and spend money and time trying to make another ebook on Clickbank and struggle to break even..

Why not to look at clickbank for successful ebooks in the given niche?
If you find any, try to promote it as an affiliate, you'll still make a very good profit from the sale as a CB affiliate.

If you don't find any CB product, or find all the ebooks there are a bunch of failures with zero gravity, well, this shall be a big red flag that infomercials may not be working in this market, try other monetizing methods like physical products from CJ, Linkshare...etc

If you couldn't find any viable option there either, then you shall just delete all your search results from your computer and start over looking for another niche,a niche like that will never be profitable.

What about "dirty jokes", what about "torrents", what about "celebrity nudity"
These are niches (if we can tell) with zillions of searches and no single red cent to spend

Depends on how you define a "niche"

Clickbank is the best platform because of their popularity and their massive affiliate base. You could do what you suggested too but I would recommend CB first.

Dirty jokes

Ebook with 1001 dirty jokes .

Adsense connected to a joke of the day site .

Celebrity Nudity

Come on . I am not interested in the adult industry but a lot bigger niche than Im and weight loss combined .

Torrents

I see no need to do research on this and do not know the niche enough to speak intelligently about it but I could monetize .

Okay one little way

Bet there is forums out there that has heroes on these sites . These well known established heroes post on these forums a lot .

I could find a related product . Buy rights . Give the hero 50% of the take to just put a link in his sig file .

Oh yeah ...your excused

the very first thing I would do is start building a list first.

Mkae something free to give them and start the list building while you work on your product.

that way to can use a launch method to get a surge of sales at first, to get noticed in clickbank by raising your gravity pretty quick

Guess it would depend on how important you feel it is to ad value to your own business instead of someone else's .

Click bank is a platform but I would need a little more convincing about being the best .

If it was the best platform why would people like Russell Brunson do in house .

I know some will say that is for the big time people . Do you want to be drowning in a pool of average or follow steps that make you stand out from the crowd . You can have your own affiliate script installed and on your own servers for less than 100 bucks .

There will be others that will surely think if not say that Russell Brunson goes about business in the wrong way to even resorting personal attacks .

Unless your making $100 grand a month , I am not interested in those opinions .

There are those that make a killing on click bank. Vendors and affiliates . There are a lot more that never even break even.

Could some of the failure rate come from not having control over their own affiliates and to an extent their product ?

I'll throw in my two cents...

Personally, I believe that before you waste any time with creating a product, you should work on testing the niche, optimizing the site, and working on the conversion rates. The low risk way to do this is with an affiliate product.

If it sells, and you want to keep going, start working on your placement in the SERPs. When you are where you want to be in the SERPs, THEN start working on your own product.

The reason I prefer this process is that a GREAT product takes time to produce, so why waste that time before you know if it's going to be worth it?

You can start a blog in that niche and start building an e-mail list.

Look for any related affiliate products because its useless if it wont make you any money.

I agree with Daniel, from my experience the more competition the better.

I never really view them as my competition I see them as possible jv partners, or possible affiliates,

successful people in your niche can be a very good thing.

Especially if there are a lot of them.

Exactly.

If everyone's eating healthy and that's the new consumer trend,
and their are healthy eating stores on every other corner...

I don't go open a "Mr Grease Burger" joint because of the "Low Competition".

I open a Healthy eating restuarant and MARKET <<KEYWORD>>>

Sounds like everyone is giving some good advise here. So I will tell you what has worked for me. I mainly use PPC for testing.. But I start at yahoo because its cheaper. I only do this if I have never heard of the niche. I will also look at competing sites. Look at there traffic and if they have any funnels in place.

You can also see if completing pages come up in quantcast.com. You might be able to see other site people visit.

Yeah I was gona ask, you found a niche, but is it profitable? Or even, somewhat profitable? Is there a "pain" in this niche that you could "relieve" for the prospect? If so then create a product...

Otherwise it's a waste of time.

Loads of good advice here, already. My two cents: If you are certain that the niche is profitable, find a good keyword and register a doman containing that keyword.
