Desperate niches/markets, Rob. Think of markets where people are struggling for help with a specific problem (get rid of boils, stop sweating excessively, stop snoring etc) and create a report based on offering help for that particular problem.

The IM industry is a tough one to get involved in as it's primarily based on your actual results, and ability to teach others to be successful (meaning you should be successful first). Instead, from personal experience, I suggest tapping into the hungry, niche markets out there that are based around a specific group of people who are anxious to get help with problems that are plaguing their lives (the kind that keep them up at night). Your target audience will not only be easier to identify, but easier to convert into buyers.

Ideas:

Psoriasis
Insomnia
Teeth Whitening
Teeth Grinding (Brixism)
Gout
Yeast Infection
Hypertension
Halitosis (Bad Breath)
Nail Fungus
Preventing/Removal of Warts
Yeast Infection
Boils
Anxiety/Panic/Stress
Eczema
Hypothyroidism
Sciatica
Bed Wetting
and even Premature Ejaculation

You could also consider desperate (finance) markets:

Credit Repair
Debt Consolidation
Avoiding Bankruptcy
Dealing with Foreclosure

or:

Pest Control
Nail Biting
Quit Smoking
Facial Hair Elimination (for women)

There are desperate niches within the relationship market, including:

How to get your ex back (geared exclusively towards women or men, not general)
Marriage Repair
Dealing with Teenagers
Online Dating

And the list goes on..

Thanks kate & wesley, One question i have in mind for mailing list which services are good ? aweber or any specific ? Or Self-hosted list service ?

Also while choosing niche, as i'm from technology background (programming) i can use this in my favor but such niche are easy to benefit with ? I know it depends on my individual effort but for every chosen niche there needs to be a start like giving a good content to customers. Is ebook or blog posting good in this case to start with ?

1. Search for information in your niche and learn it.

2. Compile a short report from the information you just learned.

3. Give good advice and try to create good relationship with your list.

4. Give them free stuff...

5. Sell them things from time to time. Sell only good stuff from known marketers.

6. Do ad swaps when you got to over 500 subscribers....

Cheers,

Mike G

To find hungry niches. Go to -

Search-based keyword tool

Click on each of the categories and you will see the most searched keywords in google under each categories...

Any niche, with low competition and high searches will be good for beginners. Above you have seen how to find hot niches with most searches on the internet.

Now you need to find if there is a lot of competition for that niche. Here is how will do it.

Take the keyword you found, and put it in google with inverted commas (" ") and click search. If you can find a keyword with less than 10,000 results. You can be sure to reap a fortune... less than 10,000 competion will be good to go for beginners. But for an experienced marketer, even a niche keyword with over 100,000 competing pages, will be a good one to get in to.

Hope this helps...

Go with aweber. As a beginner, it will be bit tough for you to create an ebook at this point, or get an ebook specific for your niche.

Instead of trying to get a full ebook ready. Just start with some good and attractive content ready, that people are looking for info on, in that particular niche. May be 3 or 4 articles will do, that covers a specific problem in that niche.

* To find problems in that niche - Just visit any forums specific to that niche and lookout for the frequently asked questions. You will most probably end up with finding a few problems in that niche.

* Now to prepare your content - Go to google.com and search for answers to the particular problem, you can also try finding valuable content from article directories like ezinearticles.com

* Read a few articles/pages regarding the problem, and note down the key points (just points).

* Now using all that points you have noted down. Reproduce a new article, in your own words, that target the specific problem and answers the problem, but don't give it all, write the content in such a way that, the reader has to click a link (to the product you are promoting) to get the complete solution to the problem.

* As said above - create 3 or 4 hot articles that people will want to read, with attractive titles. (How to's and problem solving titles are good.)

Now all you need to do is, create your squeeze page (optin form). And say something like

"As a valuable subscriber of my ...............(niche name) Newsletter, you will get exclusive info on -

Then here you will - list out the article titles as bullet points.

Then put your optin form at bottom. To see an example of how you do this, just click my make 10k in a week signature. (Also you may want to redirect your visitor to the niche product your are promoting, after sign up.)

Hope this helps...
