How would I build my list fast?

Hey Guys,

I just want to know how to build my list fast everyday, I don't want to hear the answers such as use article marketing, these are useless answers. I want to know proven methods that have builded your list fast. Can you please give me good in depth answers that I can act upon, but please give proven methods that have worked for you!

So guys, how do I build my list fast?

use PPC and use paid lists - if you combine these methods, you can have thousands of subscribers within a few weeks.

With paid traffic, the traffic ends the minute you stop paying.It can work if you know exactly what you are doing, or else you lose a lot of money and will not grow your list.Be sure to do research.

Why is "use article marketing" a useless answer? Many people believe it to be a "proven method".

There are many possible answers to your question, including "use article marketing" but if your real question is: "How do I build a large list very quickly with no work for free?" there is no answer.

You can do it free if you work hard at it or you can do very little work yourself if you pay someone else to do it for you. Or a combination of the two.

If you have produced a really great product, a JV should work for you.

I would say use the Butterfly Approach.

Create a free report by interviewing an expert in the niche you've chosen. Get it transcribed into pdf, and use this as the lead magnet for your membership site.

As people opt-in to get the free report make them a "One Time Offer" such as access to the audio version, a collection of products in the niche that you have resale rights to at a much reduced price, or anything else that you think the niche would buy.

By putting the content into a membership site everyone who downloads the report is automatically an affiliate and can give away the same report and earn commission on the OTO's that you have set up.

Assuming your niche is big enough to have competing products you can then start arranging JV's and adswaps which will give you steady traffic and put the listbuilding on autopilot.

This approach won't be cheap, but it does work, and should give you a good start which you can rinse and repeat for greater results.

I meant by people giving straight answers... they just say use article marketing and they don't put there answers in detail on how to building a list fast. One liners ain't really my thing to take on-board. I like to hear points which make sense not one liners saying " use article marketing".

Most people asking these "fast" or "quick" or similar type of niches are not the kind of people to really think things through. You need a plan for that fast list of yours. Just making a list won't make you money. You have to know what to do with it.

You don't need a huge fast list to make money. You need a solid list that you know what to do with.

Good luck though. The way you build a list is through time, work, and reputation. Profitable lists are not built fast.

Set up a squeeze page to give away the best thing you have for Free with opt-in
Send as much traffic as you can to it using PPC, PPV, JV's, Exit traffic, article marketing, and any other free traffic method out there. There are tons of them.

Once you have the address then you can send them wherever you want from the confirmation link. You would probably want to send them to some type of one-time offer so you could monitize it right away.

Concentrate your efforts to sending traffic for now until your list gets to the size you want it. Don't get distracted. Keep sending traffic.

Oh yeah, and in the item you give away make sure to include some verbage letting the people know they can give it away free also through your lading page.

There are all great replies here, however if you want to get a list of 200 very quickly I highly recommend taking part in jv giveaways. these build your list fast, esp if you new, and have unique product, there principal is you add you gift i.e free product, video camtasia works best, make sure the graphics are unique and quality and you get the subscribers that optin to the jv giveaway. I started this way and got to 1200 in jsut 2 mionths and then taht allowed me to start ad swapping and getting into ad swap groups and jv's etc

Its important to create new products/ repors to keep your subscribers coming in you can pay a small upgrade fee to get your product listed in the 'hot downloads' section, you have to send traffic to these sites to keep the momentum, but the paid option will sometimes overide this.

Ah, but there's a difference between not getting a straight answer and not getting an answer that's detailed enough for you to implement.

Don't ignore the value of those brief answers and don't wait around for someone to step you through it. Instead, now that you have some good search parameters (ie how to build a list through article marketing), start doing your own research.

Many times on the forum, those quick answers are exactly what you need to get moving in the right direction, but you have to have the gumption to follow through.

I believe this is the best way.. Eben Pagan uses this approach... in Double Your Dating..

1. You can create a really good product..

2. Charge $47 - $97 and make the front end of your marketing funnel a 2-step process. Meaning, Opt-In.. then Sales Page.

3. Then go out and look for JV's and affiliates and give them 75-100% commissions and there you go.. You got a big list.

The best part is that it will only stop getting bigger if your product sucks and doesn't convert OR when your affiliates want to stop making money.. (which is unlikely)

Put together a high converting squeeze page and drive traffic to it.

If your squeeze page converts at 50% and you want to add 100 subscribers a day, you need to send 200 visitors a day to the squeeze page.

There is no secret to list building.

It's the same as making sales. Traffic x Conversion.

If you want to build your list faster, send more traffic to your squeeze page and optimize your conversion rate through testing.

Just as Lance K said. There is not a secret method in building a list. But of course, you can always build your lists in different speeds. And there is some tips n tricks.

Your subscribers can increase if you have a:
Very good squeeze-page. With some offer in it. Trigging words.
Having a lot of different traffic tactics - be creative! There is so many out there!!
If you are planning to do a trailer or something like that for your project and send the viewers to your optin-page... Use inspirational words and music.

Be creative, there is no limit. Hire someone to do the job if you only know what you want to do - but not How to do it. It will probably payoff sooner or later.

To the original thread author and anyone else wondering... whenever you've seen screenshots with 24 hour results... or heard of insane product launches..

All of these guys, and anyone who does overnight list building, pays for their traffic. Adwords. Simple and straight forward.

When you have 10 g's to spend and know how to spend it with PPC, you can pretty much print money.

This will start a conversation. (if you really want to be sneaky, create a few other alternate forum names and have a conversation with yourself. Talk about the strengths and weaknesses, but overall it's a great article and video)

This will keep the thread going and attract major attention, sending you hundreds of people to your list.

5. Now, you may only have 200 to 500 people on your list...but these people think you are genius (If you give away great content at first!)

This works extremely well if you don't sell anything immediately. (I didn't say within a few days, i said immediately) If you do sell something immediately, it could get you a bad rep at the forum, so make sure it looks like you have nothing to sell. After a few days of releasing the material, get into preselling mode and start slowly soft selling them.

This works REALLY well and you can make a lot of money on just a few hundred people. Then when you have stats to back it up, you can approach JV partners for a big launch.

i would stick a wso on for a really good report that people want right now. Read what is hot on there and then answer the questions with your report. Then get red hot graphics done and a great one time offer to present to these new subscribers and you have it made.

For a wso i've never added less than 400 subscribers including two bumps so for $60 - 400 subscribers. Which is a lot cheaper than pay per click etc. Then after this post on here with your free report in your signature.

You want fast continuous traffic, then you'll have tp pay for it, PPC for example. Or you'll have to pay someone to set up some good SEO tactics for you.

This business is Time verse money.
You have a lot of money and no time, you pay for what you want.
You have no money and a lot of time, you learn it yourself and do it yourself.

Most people meet in the middle somewhere. They have a bit of time, and a bit of money, so they pay for some things and do other things themselves.

As a newbie I would imagine you don't have a lot of money, that's the case for most people so take a breath and slow down. Rome wasn't built in a day.
If you have persistance you will get there.

Do ad swaps. It`s really simple and it will build your list FAST!

One ad swap forum I´ve been using is IMadswaps.com
All you need to do is contact people asking if they want to do ad swap with you
and as people start to say "yes, when do we send out"...your list will start growing fast.

You can also ask if they want to swap follow-up messages too...and if they say "Yeah" you just created a recurring traffic source...
