Domain Renewal Scam
I'm not sure if this is new or not, but I just received an email about a domain I own that is due to expire in December.
The email is from renewal@onlinereminder.org
The domain name [domain name removed] is about to expire 2009-12-22. If you wish to continue using your domain name please click on the link below. Click here to renew. --------> [url removed] Once the payment has been completed the above mentioned domain name will automatically be renewed and a conformation will be sent. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Additional information ISPRenewal consults companies about their ownership of domain names on the internet. I found a thread about them on scam.com forum and it is obviously a scam but I just thought I'd give you guys a heads up just in case you receive a similar email.
