$1,485 in 48 hours with a new system

The WarriorForum has helped me lots over the past year... thought I'd give back a little.

I've always wanted to try this method out and finally took action on it and within 48 hours I had a new product in a niche I've never been in and 55 sales at $27 each.

What I did was post on craigslist asking for someone who runs their own pool business and if I can talk to them for a little while. I got a response and quickly called to discuss the business model and what was needed to get up and running and any "insider info." You can do this interview via email, I chose to call (bonus material here with the recorded interview).

I fully informed him on my intentions off the bat, so there was no problem down the road. From the info he gave me I was able to write a 36 page report on starting and maintaining your own pool business.

From my initial post to the completed report was about 7 hours.

I then turned around and posted the report on craigslist and 2 days later had an extra $1,485 to show for it with no website, no list and in a brand new niche for me.

I hope this helps someone, it's a very simple method to follow.

I must say that it was very innovative of you. Now you sold 55 guides in your local craigslist. Since I am no craigslist expert, would you be allowed to post it in other areas as well, to make way more sales?

The work is done, the guide is obviously sellable, what about posting it on some other free internet classified ads. Heck, get yourelf a domain, scale it up.

This is just the beginning, go for it, you got a winner. Contact tons of more pool guys, get ALL of their secrets, write a bigger and better guide, register it with clickbank, get your own affiliates.

I could go on and on but I am sure you got the picture, lol

Maybe you could even sell pools

Not without using some BlueFart techniques for adposting anyway...

What exactly did you say in your post on CL to get the owner(s) of the pool business to respond?What kind of questions did you have in mind when you asked him questions(were there prewritten or off the top of your head)? How many questions did you need to ask to get 36 pages of content(or you didn't have a length of content in mind)? Once you created content what was your method of getting sales?

Sounds like a great ROI to me.

I'm sure you could run up a blog on that topc. Run some extracts as posts for content and sell the report from there also.

Certainly worth a shot.

I have to agree, I don't think I've ever gotten 55 clicks in a day from CL, and I post a lot of ads.

I'm not doubting that you sold 55 guides, but on Craigslist, you had to either use ad posting software, or post in EVERY major city.

So which one was it?

Craigs is spam central. And while it's a clear violation of their TOS people continually do it. It's the do what I say not what I do mentality at work.

I'm not sure I would call this spam as it's offering a product you created for sale.

You wrote a book and made some money. It took effort and work. You made $1,500 now what? You look for the next idea and give it a run. Okay.

How do you turn this idea into a long term sustainable business?

There are skeptics and believers. Personally I say, "THANKS" for offering an excellent idea that anyone could take advantage off today....Contact an expert, interview them and turn the interview into a product.

My one question I have for you specifically is where do you post the report once it is finished? Small Biz ads, services area?

I know this is not a new ground-breaking system, it's been done before, it will be done again. I posted this for whomever to find value to it, take it make it their own and make some money doing it. It's very simple to do but it does take WORK...

I didn't have any idea as to how long the report would end up being, I have no knowledge of this niche, don't own a swimming pool.

The questions that were asked were both scripted and not, I outlined points that I thought were important to touch on and since I know nothing about this business I thought it was easy to come up with supporting and secondary questions off the top of my head, just by thinking what would I need to know to get this business running or which of his responses I need clarification on.

Hours upon hours were spent manually posting this to CL, I started posting when the report was done and I was still posting a few days later before I stopped completely. I ended up with hundreds of posts. I used an ascii encoder to make the ads appear unique each time.

I have used CL before but not to this scale and certainly not to this success, could be a needle in a haystack result this time, I don't know. All I know is that I probably wouldn't expect this result again. Just felt like sharing the find/ fun I had.

This was posted in multiple cities, especially ones with warmer weather and in both the "for sale --> business" and "services --> small biz ads". I really didnt have a method to it, some cities I posted in one category and some posted in the other.

My message was simply asking them for a few minutes of their time to discuss their business for a report. Nothing too complicated, very simple. I really was unsure if anyone would respond and luckily someone did, I only interviewed the first one, didn't get anybody else.

I was debating doing this on CL or just sending a letter. I do think I would have gotten a better response sending letters, but I've always wanted to try this on CL so that's why I went that route.

	The only expert in the world that I know of that can delegate without a dime(ZERO MONEY), and, set on autopilot from day one(a start up business). I don't need to learn a new skill, or, any skill to dominate a market. Experts handle all my work while I goof off. (ATTENTION"The art of the goof off"is NOT FOR SALE, why would it be when I can implement myself)?
