Is it possible to make money from Paid to Click programs?

I am constantly being urged to join Paid to Click programs, so I thought I'd investigate their money making potential. This is what I've worked out:

A PTC program with a $5 payout. Sounds good, BUT.....

You only get 4 ads per day, at 1 cent each. To earn a dollar will therefore take 25 days (call it a month, near enough). So, to get to $5 (the cashout level) will require no less than FIVE MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!

Am I right, i.e. that these programs are a waste of time, or am I missing something? Can someone please advise?

The answer is yes you can earn but if you spent most days clicking away you'll be lucky to afford a macdonalds at the months end. The real money is made by the cpa guys that are paying guys like you a few cents to hit their ads. There's a complete section on CPA if you want to learn more.

Do not even waste your time, I used to use these programs back in the day including the big one bux.to They have yet to pay me the $3,000 they owe me after 1 year and 10 months. All I keep here from them is we can't tell you when you'll be paid but you will be. What a rip lol 9 out of 10 of these sites will not pay you. Spend your time doing something else like blogging, affiliate marketing, product creation, learning. Your time is valuable don't waste it

AGree with SeanSupplee. I got $956 outstanding and I just know they will not pay me. I am based in the UK and suing the US from here aint gonna be easy. Affiliate marketing and your own eBook product sales are the way forward

You will have to spend way to much time with these PTC companies to even make a little money, then as already stated you may never receive your money anyway.

If you have some time, find an affiliate program you would feel good about promoting. There are many 100% commission deals that pay instantly to your Paypal account. Then spend some time placing ads or posting in forums that allow you to. Don't spam the forums, just offer good advice and informational replys that help others then have your website url in your sig if they allow it.

You should be able to make way more money this way then PTC, and you get paid immediately!!

I have tried them and I never had any success, there are better ways to make money online.
