At least we have a Dream :)

Hi All,

I just saw another, Is ??? the way to Get Rich in IM post/thread.

Ya know what I thought when I saw that for the 100th+ time.

HEY, At Least We Have A DREAM

I've worked on many jobs in my life time and at work we never sat around talking about how this JOB was going to make us rich.

I've had many friends in business over the years and although they might have opened their donut shop, hair salon, book store, lawn business or carpet cleaning business with the DREAM of getting rich, in about 6 months they lost that dream and realized that they had only created a JOB for themselves.

I know many people who have retired with Social Security and their pensions who DREAMED of traveling and seeing the world during retirement only to be met with rising fuel prices and travel charges. Again, no more dream.

And here we are on the Warrior Forum talking about the infinite possibilities of being able to market our products to the whole wide world.

Even if our Dream hasn't come true yet we still have it, because the possibility is there. If we are 14 years old we can dream and if we are 84 years old we can dream. The possibility is there til the day we die and the dream is alive!

That's worth something.

    Good post George.

And isn't what business is all about? To dream a nearly impossible dream but then be able to actually make it happen - espescially online.

I equate the online business with an offline business in these terms: for routine mundane tasks - outsource or put in a system. In the offline world, you would hire someone to do those tasks. In the online world, you put in a system to do it for you but you usually don't have to PAY anyone to do it.

The biggest online advantage to me is that you can AUTOMATE the entire sales process and basically systemize EVERYTHING even down to your personal sales message via video.

But yeah - the dream remains alive and well here on WF :-)

Hi there. I have just rejoined the dream again brigade. Something I've not been able to do since being in senior school. On leaving school dreams became down sized to match salaries and wages. But now I can start to dream again (no wife saying that's not going to work or no you can't do that! lol) and I believe that Internet Marketing is going to be the solution along with a huge spoon of advice to begained from this site that I'm starting to enjoy and get to grips with. It's great to see that so many people are willing to help so many newbies like myself along the path to our dreams, unlike in the so called real world.

    You're absolutely right George!

You have to have a dream. And age is not a factor in the IM world!!!!

Every one of us can make it big in the IM world and there is never market saturation.

When peolpe stop dreaming ...we're all in for a rude awakening!

    Thanks for the reminder,
    William Dean

The internet is the place that has the biggest potential of making the dream of becoming rich come true. No other time in history have individuals been able to create products with such ease and connect with so many possible customers for cheaply. Keep trying!

    Hi,

4 years ago I got dis heartened and quit so completely that I trashed everthing including my websites.

What I didn't realize then, while I was blaming the world for my 'failure' was that with just a little bit of guidance, I was on the verge of a real gold rush.

There I was selling a 40 page e-book for $67 on an amaturely constructed website with absolutely no bonuses on 8 visitors on a good day but still making $4000+ in 8 months. On the surface a failed attempt but in reality just a step away from real money.

    Not one book was returned.

I never monitised in any way. On one occassion within a 2 hour period out of 4 visitors I sold 3 books.

It is not a dream, it is knowing when to persevere and when to move on.

I BLAMED A LOT OF PEOPLE BACK THEN, BUT IN REALITY I GAVE UP TOO SOON.

Great post. And oh so true. It's what keeps many of us going - knowing that one day we could hit that new mark and strike it rich.
