I just saw this on tv.

YouTube - Volley Warehouse: Close Call

When you actually go to the site they say they only have 1 product left in stock and have an opt in form for you to tell them why you deserve the last one.

It has Dunlop Volley advertising all over it so I'm presume it's a viral marketing ploy by Dunlop.

It must be working given as soon I saw it I went to the website.

A good example of a company thinking outside the box!

It is truly interesting how different people react differently to the same thing. I'd never even bother visiting the site based on that video.

If I had have seen it on the internet I doubt I would have gone to the website.

The fact that someone had actually spent money to have it appear on tv is what sparked my interest. They have about 4 different videos I think.

I saw someone post it on Facebook and also on a different forum so it's obviously working.

It is interesting, but whether it is "obviously working" is unclear. Since I don't know what their purpose is, I can't judge whether or not it is meeting their objectives. If they designed it as a method to sell products, I have no idea what their sell-through or conversion rates are, so I also can't judge whether the video is working.

Also, it only has 12,000 views since September, so from that standpoint of attracting a large number of views, it isn't very successful, either.
