Default BRILLIANT Pallindrome... Lost Generation... 6,859,090 views so far

Interesting! ... How some Video's just get Amazing Traffic into the Millions...

Received the following in an email...

Figured a few passing through Might enjoy and be a little intrigued...

This is well worth the 1-3/4 minutes!

A palindrome reads the same backwards as forward. This video reads the exact opposite backwards as forward.

This is only a 1 minute, 44 second video and it is brilliant. Make sure you read as well as listen…forward and backward.

This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20-year old. The contest was titled "u @ 50" by AARP. This video won second place. When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant. Take a minute and watch it...

Interesting.

Here is another Pallindrome video.. kind of... by Michel Gondry.
It's the same video played forward and backward next to each other:

Dailymotion - Cibo Matto- Sugar Water [P"]Dailymotion - Cibo Matto- Sugar Water [PV] - a Music video

How would you monetize it?

Even if you were to research and find out how. Most wouldn't execute because of another popular palindrome:

No, it can assess an action.

Now that was great! I love wordplay...

Honestly,

Whosoever thought of this must have been a genius.

I vaguely remember having read a palindrome before, but never really sat down to write one.

Maybe someday I will too... ;-)

-Lakshay

P.S. And yes, there is no reason for me to believe that some things can not be done for emotional enrichment.

Very cool. English has so many potential multiple meanings. Is it like this with other languages? I wonder if this same AARP presentation could be designed for a French crowd, or Italian, etc. But I love finding stuff like this.

How would you monetize it?

Use it to sell a training program to parents to develop their children into leaders
Use it to build a list of people wanting to be part of something great
Use it to find those who connect with making a difference

Charities would love this intro. Change the ending to If you want to be part of a family that is making a difference, sign up below.

You already have their heart engaged. Should be easy to monetize it ...now I need to go write something like that LOL

I like it.... Large companies use emotional triggers all the time:

If you are playing along... baby (everyone LOVES babies), devastation after natural disaster, cancer, old people, inner city clean up and unity, handicapped (but some how "making it"), coming home from war, another small child and finally... sales pitch.

I wonder if Frank Kern produced that State Farm commercial.

Successful copywriters use emotion too. It may not be the heart string tears in the eyes type but it is emotion none the less. We all make decisions on an emotional level and justify it on an intellectual level.

We often call it "connecting" with our customer. When we connect we build trust... isn't trust an emotion?

Think about Coke? It's whole message is emotion. Black Syrup water? You can market anything

I am now following you on Twitter...

Emotion drives sales, there's no doubt about it. There are so many talented copywriters out there...

Whether it's positive or negative emotion the key is getting people to "buy in"
