Hello All,
How about calling companies listed in Manta.com / YelloPages and offer them a basic website for about $50? Will it work? Would they at least have an email so I can ask them to email me the info to be put on site? I cannot physically go there since I am not in US. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Fahad |

I would probably say no! The majority of businesses have a website setup but the ones that dont, and yes there are still a few, are unlikely to bite at $50?? Thats my opinion anyway and I sell IM services including web design to local business owners.
Firstly, cheap often comes across as not worth it and every business is different. You need to offer value. Telling a business you are going to build them a site for $50 is pointless. Telling a business you could potential heelp with their online marketing however is a different story. Sit down with them, ask questions and I am 100% confident you will be selling web design with other services for thousands. Just my 2 cents anyway! From experience business owners will probably run the opposite way when they hear the below cheap price you mentioned. HTH GoGetta |
