MINISITE WARS - ECOVER JUDGING - YOU DECIDE

Haha, Take that Ninja boy!

He doesn't have very much stealth with an aeroplane in the eye.

He's sat in the corner of the room with a luke warm towell, sucking his thumb, I guess Nic what right, we designers are big softees!

Anyway... anyone who didnt read our MiniSite Wars ecover competition thread will not think I'm a little weird... heh? your probably not far wrong.

As Karl stated we have selected 10 of the ecovers from the minisite wars ecover competition. The top 5 will get $10 each.

Here is the 10 to select from: http://www.minisitewars.com/top10.jpg

I HAVE ADDED A POLL TO THIS THREAD! Thanks Erum

To select your favourite ecover simply post your username and your favourite, 1 to 10

Here is the 10 to select from: http://www.minisitewars.com/top10.jpg

Happy Selecting, if you want to state why you picked what you did, please let us know, as designers its always good to get feedback ;o)

--------------

Congratulations to Brent and Joe from Pulp Minisites who created this fantastic cover and will be used as the theme for MiniSite Wars 2008

    Ouch!

That look like a lot of effort went into those covers.

What it doesn't look like is the right message getting across.

I'm not a gamer, so I don't get a lot of that stuff...but how fun are these games going to be?

I voted for number 8... but the rest were pretty good overall. The only one I didn't like was number 4. While I get the paintball theme... it just didn't do anything for me.

The rest it would really depend on the graphical theme of your site, color scheme, etc.

I hope some of the talented designers who entered have made some new contacts from the thread... the judging was very difficult indeed.

              Couldn't agree more, Karl.

Quite a depth of talent here...you should ALL be proud.

While all were great, I voted for #5.

Simplistic design, love the spy vs spy guys and think it
really captures the spirit of the "wars". It's subtle but
    speaks volumes.

      Now....

thanks for the reminder - when the thread got buried I ended up
being very busy and Darren is away (yesterday anyway) so I'm in
      charge

Just counted up the votes (in the poll) and we have 6 winners, as
there are 4 entries split at 5 votes each:

      Cover 2 - 5 votes
      Cover 3 - 5 votes
      Cover 5 - 15 votes
      Cover 6 - 5 votes
      Cover 8 - 8 votes
      Cover 9 - 5 votes

Congratulations - Darren and I will PM the runners up soon to arrange payment of the $10 each.

      Kindest regards,
      Karl.

So were we... and most of the others by the looks of it...

Was some really good work all round - I think the talent here is getting better, those who continue in the business are going to keep getting stronger.

Looking forward to the main event now, which Darren and I are planning as we speak.

              Kindest regards,
              Karl.
