Is It Possible To Have A Good Ebook Cover Made For Me For less Than 20 Bucks?

Hi Warriors,

I'm about to release a product soon and I really need an ebook cover made for me, I have photoshop and thought I could do it myself and I tried and I tried and I tried, all to no avail.

I need it done quickly,exceptionally well and without costing an arm a leg.

Just one ebook, which shouldn't even take 30 minutes for a pro to do, should not cost and arm and a leg.

Do any of you have suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure it is.

Check out the "Warrior For Hire" section and look for "designers". Look at their portfolios, check out their feedback. Find 3 to 4 good ones and send them a PM detailing your needs, desired turnaround time and your budget.

I'm sure you'll find someone that will be able to help you.

If you don't find what you are looking for you can try GFX Writer (just google it for the website). I think you can get it for under $20. They market it as a cheap alternative to Photoshop. I've used it but I can't say the quality is as good as a professional. But to get something up quickly and to do it yourself it was fine. Depends on what you are looking for. Might be an alternative.

It varies, depending on the method/program used and the style of the ecover. The most-used Photoshop action packages produce print-quality ecovers that have to be resized to be used on the web, so they can be any desired final size.

I strongly recommend you to hire professional to make professional cover.
You can find several proven outsourcing sites for that and, of course, check appropriate section here as many warriors are obviously very experienced in this area.

Having professional made appealing cover can make huge difference in sales volume.

There is interesting case from porn industry where main production companies spent more on cover design then on all actors wage together, so that caused their revolt and strike. But that was proven approach to better promote product on overcrowded market. Finding any similarities?
