45.1% for Submissions per Displays sounds pretty good to me. Hopefully you are giving the ebook in return for an email double opt in?

Yes they are double opt in's.
I just noticed that 91 of the 567 did not get verified.

That is awesome, but you can do better. Try tweaking it a little bit and you might see even better conversions. I've seen as high as 75%, but you are well on your way to a killer opt-in page!

How do you get such high conversions? Any advice would help.

If you are losing people that are not doing the second optin, make sure you have clear instructions for them that explains what to do, and how to do it. Double optin is second nature to us, but not the average joe necessarily.

Two more ideas about those people that aren't finishing the opt-in--do you have one of those "one more step, you need to confirm your subscription" pages? I saw a drop in follow-through when I stopped using my own and reverted back to the aweber generic one for the time being.

And depending on your program, you may be able to follow-up with people who don't confirm to see if you can convert some who might have just missed the email in the junk folder or forgot.

And one idea to increase your opt-ins overall--can you read the ebook into Audacity and create an mp3 file to add to it? That'll up the perceived value of the freebie without adding much more work for you.
