Default Looking for an old thread

Good evening,
I saw a thread once that showed specific search parameters for google to do things like find .pdf's or .jpg. Would anyone happen to remember this? If so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could drop a link here.

Thanks in advance
Mike

Hi, Mike!

I couldn't find the thread here, but thought this might help.

Google Advanced Search

After you put your search term you can choose which file type you want from a drop down menu.

...or you can just put filetype:jpg (or pdf, etc.) right after your search term on Google.

Again, no thread, but a video on how to find specific file types on Google:

Hope that helps,

I know the thread but I can't seem to locate it. Thought I had it saved but can't find it now. This link might help you though: Search .DOC .PPT .XLS .PDF

I'm not positive this is the same thread you wanted but it's where I learned about the link I gave above. In the thread, other people tell how to find specific file types when searching Google, though.
