Default Paypal question?

Okay I was thinking about this the other day when I saw a paypal thread and all the complaints about paypal and I wanted to ask if you have a donation button and someone donates through it. Can they ask for that money to be refunded?

Its not about how hard you hit. Its about how hard you get hit and keep going... its how much you can take...

If they do a charge back on their credit card, or if they do a bank reversal, yes, paypal will take the money out of your account. I wouldn't worry about it with a donation botton through, if people donate money to you there is going to be a very small chance they will try to take it back.

I think if people donate it, you don't really have the right then to worry about them taking it back, as it was never yours to begin with. Although it's strange that people are allowed to take money back as well for such a thing "a donation".

so what would happen if after you got the donations you basically disconnected your paypal account from your bank account or debit card?

You can add that back on, can't you? Or you can add a different account. As far as I am aware, they allow you to add different or multiple accounts. Did you do this by accident?!

We do hundreds of donations a year and yes they can ask for a refund which we process quickly.

There are usually very good reasons unlike when buying a product.

It usually occurs when we are doing recurring donations but have had a few with single ones too.
