A while ago I was fretting on what to do about a search result I was able to dominate by article marketing.

Maybe this is a chance for me to focus my work.

You raise a good point. We're not going to know many stats until about a week later. So how about this? We start today. The article marketing ends October 21st, but everyone will continue posting their success for another week (until the 28th). Then we'll see how it went for everyone and a winner will be chosen on the 29th!

Tiffany submitted her first article this morning called, "Squidoo Still Holds Power in the SERPs." Now Tiffany is going to wait to see if Tiffany's article is accepted to rejected.

Tiffany is totally kidding with this third person post. I just did it to weird Andy out.

Seriously, I did it - I posted. I felt my article was gooood and I was only on half a cup of coffee. I noticed in someone's Warrior blog in the top stats section that he had done a screen shot of his before CB earnings to see how it pans out (as proof). Good idea.

I did the same for my PDC account to show how our BuildMyLens revenue increases. I just went 30 days back so we can see a comparison of 30 days to 30 days.

Okay, I am in too! I've been article marketing all along but I have been neglecting my newest product horribly since I launched it, so I will use this challenge to focus solely on that. Since I've done little with it so far it will be easy for me to see the results I get from just submitting one article a day.

I already have the keyword research done, so today I'll put together a list of article topics and titles, and get article #1 submitted by tomorrow morning.

This will be fun! :-)

Okay, I've submitted my first 5 articles today for this challenge. One of
the niches I will keep secret in fairness to my customers who got the
product from me that revealed this niche.

This is just the kick in the pants I need. I have been seriously slacking off on articles recently.

I'll have to remove myself from the prize eligibility, however, as the bulk of my articles will be submitted under a name other than my own and I'm working on some stealth niches at present!

But I will join in and share results. What a GREAT IDEA. Good things ALWAYS happen after submitting articles, but sometimes it takes a boost to get started.

You realize that it's going to be a bloody mess to try to find anything in this
thread once people start posting their articles, stats and whatnot, along with
all the "great idea, I'm in" posts to boot.

This should be real interesting to see how well we can keep this organized.

How about some standard subject headings appended to the first post in this thread?

Whenever a post is added to this thread, the first line should be a bold, pre-approved subject line, e.g. "Daily Submission Results," "Weekly Traffic Results."

Then readers could scan the thread quickly.

Great idea this challenge. 30 days doesn't sound much but they can be sooo long. Good to have some other people to follow.

I personally find it easier to write a bunch of articles at once than just 1 a day.

Well I've spent the day, choosing my product, keyword researching, I've set up a WP blog that will just be a static page for now, will really develop this in the future. I've also got my Lens published and will be adding more content. Written only 1 article today, not submitted it yet!

Trying to do this and keep my other projects on the fire too!

I decided to use this particular challenge to promote a blogging membership I take part in. It's run by a fellow warrior, so if I do well I get to help someone here AND make some money.

I've never really done keyword research for the internet marketing niche before, and suprisingly I found a handful of keywords relating to making money with a blog that weren't to competitive. So research done, and today's article has been submitted to EZA.

As a shout out to Tiff for holding this event I'm using squidoo as a landing page. I'll check back in tomorrow.

You can do whatever you want. I'm trying to see how 30 days of articles pointing to one site will help sales. I want one VIP sale a day ($799). Or, a couple of a la cartes would work too! ($249). So we'll see.

I may change up my article titles to attract affiliates to the program - that might increase sales even MORE!

Well, I've never really done article marketing to any great degree and I just set up a site yesterday on Eco Home & Building Design so it seems to be a good idea to try this.

Will have to discipline myself to do one article a day though

I'm joining today. I only saw this today so I may not have 30 full days, but I'll try to get a few extra articles up to make up for this

I'm a newbie at niche blogging. My first niche blog isn't ready yet with enough posts to warrant a full out article marketing attack on it, so I'll use this to target more traffic to my squidoo lenses (something I've been meaning to do for a long long time).

I have 8 active lenses right now. I have posted a screen cap of lens titles, and traffic stats. Basically none of them make any external money from squidoo so my goal is to see some amazon/ebay module sales coming in thanks to increased traffic.

edit: I also realized that I can additionally target some of the articles to other sites I have. I will be hoping to make some ebay affiliate sales from one of my main sites related to my best squidoo lens.

Okay, I have done my keyword research (at least for the first ten days), I have written and submitted my article to EZA and Website Articles, as well as placing another version of it on my blog.

Article title is "Dating For Couples- Why You Need to Still Date" keyword being "dating for couples".


Just finished adding my analytics and everything to it as well, have set up a separate sales page, exclusively for my article marketing efforts so I can also track it better. I also set up a goal in google analytics to track specifically my Article Marketing efforts to see what articles from the blog is making me sales.
