Today I submitted a third article. It's for my second best squidoo lens. I titled it:

"Confessions of a Wordpress Blogger - First 30 days"
It's about 450 words and took only 15 minutes to write

I got an email saying my first article has been approved without needing any editing.

I have one extra article written and ready to go, but I still need an extra in the other niche. I can tell already that having this thread is going to be a big help for me. I was feeling a worn down already on this challenge and it's only day 3! If there wasn't something larger than myself going on, I'd probably just stop at this point. It will help when they start getting approved and I can see the results.

Two more articles posted this morning. I just viewed the status of the other 4 articles, and all of them are still with just one red block. I guess I still have a ways to go before they are released, maybe tomorrow.

I also went into my Aweber account and checked how many opt-ins I have to the list for that site, and there are 8 so far (all of them signed up months ago and I haven't done squat with the list so far).

Later today I'll be loading a 10 part e-course so any new subscribers that come from this challenge will be hearing from me regularly! :-)

Alrighty - Day 4:

Submitted "How to Squidoo From Start to Finish" (with my keyword phrase in bold).

I find that if I wait until I get back from taking the kids to school, I take more time and I write more. This was another over-800 word article.

Nothing even out of the first red block in the approval process for the last 3.

OK, I want in on this challenge. This should give me the kick-start I need.

My goal is write 5+ articles/day

So far I've set-up 1 landing page in the health and fitness niche and created 10 blogs. I created a new pen name on Ezine Articles just for this challenge. I've also made a list of 50 low-comp, high-searched keywords.

Here's where I'm at as of this morning...

I'm so behind - I was hoping to have 20 done by today but I've had the flu . So now I've only got 10 submitted so far and I'm testing some new niches and NOT getting the results I was hoping for. The way things are going I definitely won't be getting into the 'Most Viewed' with any I've submitted so far! Anyway, I'll keep going and hopefully I'll have identified a few good converting products by the end of the 30 days.

Well it's only day 4 so all you need is 4. This is why I don't recommend anyone bite off more than they can chew. No you feel like you're letting yourself down not having 20 done when you could have been overly proud of yourself for meeting your 4 goal Just scale back and get on track again

Hi Tiffany, Great challenge! I am challenging myself to get in the habit of writing first thing every morning but not sure if I will have them polished enough to submit to an article directory but at least I am getting them started. Just got my fourth article submitted. I also discovered that yesterdays article was somehow listed as saved but not submitted, so I took care of that. Luckily it will only be a day off.

MY first article went live today-so far it has 11 views and 3 clickthroughs to my lens. I need to check on any lens to sales page traffic. I just did a bit of bookmarking for the article, hopefully that will help.

I am a newbie to IM and AM. I read through Travis's Bum Marketing Methods, and am writing articles based on the 5,000 or less search results for the keyword phrase.

How are you guys tracking the number of views?
Are you submitting strictly to EZA?
How about submitting to GoArticles or other sites?
Are you all linking the EZA back to a Squidoo page, or blog? (Is there a difference in performance?)

However...

(Take this with a grain of salt because the KWs I'm using are often 4+ words and get less than 10 searches a day)

11 out of the 14 live EZA articles are on the first page of Google for their keyword!!!

BTW, I'm writing these under the pen name Serina Fea.

Looks like I am going to keep up the article writing on the side at home and queue them up as I can.

Cheryl, yes definitely keep writing the articles every day. Then when they upgrade your account to Platinum you will have a nice stash and you can submit 2 or even more a day to catch up. It can seem like it takes forever but it's worth the wait! :-)

I almost copped out today. I had two extra articles I'd written yesterday, but honestly they were pretty low quality and both really short. I was feeling lazy and almost just loaded those up. But I hate doing things crappily, so I guilted myself into doing the real thing.
