Basically, I have been trying to install micronichefinder but I think my anti-virus -Kaspersky is blocking it. I spent hours trying to get it to work but couldn't. Has anyone got microniche and kaspersky and can get them to work together. Would hugely appreciate any help here. I have contacted the support team at micro niche who have been great but have not come up with a solution as yet so thought I would try the forum. Thanks |

Perhaps your problem is down to something else. I've been running both together without problems since around May. I had to reinstall them again at the end of last week after a hard drive failure and it all went fine.

Oh I see, thanks for that. Just one more thing. When your browsing with Kaspersky do you have to accept some sites before entering them by clicking on the continue to site link when the anti-virus sees them as dangerous. I noticed that I have to do this for the google external tool site and thought that was why I couldn't use nichefinder with kaspersky.

Hi, I've checked the MNF with kaspersky turned off and it works so it must be the anti-virus that is preventing it from working. I know this is turning into a anti-virus question but while I'm here, does anyone, who has kaspersky, know how to turn off the annoying warning pages where you have to click on the link to allow you to enter a site that is supposedly dangerous - when they aren't. That's what stopping micronichefinder from working. If anyone knows, please let me know, thanks in advance. |

I have got it working by unchecking scan encrypted connections in the network area of settings. Do you think that will compromise my computer in general? Thanks for the help, I so appreciate it! |
