Default Camtasia help please -- anyone?

I have camtasia 6. (also older camtasia 4). I can produce videos fine and post to youtube or my sites, etc. No problems there. But I cannot figure out how to produce a video and share it by simply emailing the file. It always produces 7 or 8 files as part of the package. I want just one file.

I have lots of videos that I've gotten from other marketers, and there's just one file per video in their zip.

Can anyone tell me how that's done? Thanks.

If you create it in .wmf, it makes one .wmf file (still inside some folders) which is usually pretty small in file size. That works pretty good for me.

So just choose .wmf as the type -- that's windows movie maker, I guess? Thanks for the tip -- will give it a try.

yes, produce the video in WMV format. There will be 3 files in the folder after its produced, a js file and a xml file. Those files are not needed. If you then want email the wmv file or upload it to youtube you can do so.

when I produce in wmv or quicktime format, it places the title on the video. It fades away after a couple seconds, but I want to eliminate that. I've turned watermark off and everything else that sounds like that. Do you know what causes that?

I just this minute did a test Camtasia strictly for this thread. I'm using Camtasia 6 and I've created a WMV, I do not see the title you speak of... Here's what I did. (see Jing video)

You have Cam 6, so you have the ability to create mp4 (good quality and much smaller file size than AVI or WMV). Cam will create a controller and other files, but you only need to send the mp4.

I didn't know that Kevin, thanks. I though I had to send all the files. I'll try it.
