Default Admin review WSO policy?

Is there a review process before letting people sell their WSO packages? I was recently called on the phone by a member here pushing their package. After some back ground work I found that they are not ranked for any of their keywords other than their domain name. This person is claiming that they are the biggest company in the country LOL but working out of a 1 man office. So I'm not going to completely bash on the dude for trying but my question is if the admin can verify that a person selling WSO's is legit before allowing them to sell to others? I have a feeling this person might have burned a few people here before and I've found one post so far that has verified this.

There is no way that the admin can verify the legitimacy of each and every offer...

The best thing you can do is to make a post in the WSO thread with your "questions" and "concerns" and if you indeed do have some proof that the person running the WSO might be on a scamming spree open a support ticket at the help desk.

No, there is no review process that I'm personally aware of.

That would be an excruciating daunting task.

Sellers would have to comply with a background check - which would cost money and take time. Even then, there is no guarantee - especially if someone is fresh to the web and has no history to check.

Everyone needs to do their own homework, ask a lot of questions, and if you don't get the information you need then you should proceed accordingly. It is like this for pretty much anything you do on the web.

Personal responsibility?

Interesting.

Is this some new concept?

Do you think it will catch on; perhaps go viral?

The WSO forum is a MarketPlace like any other..

And should be treated as such, why should Admin hold any responsibility?....
