Hi,
Just a quick question about having your keyword in a URL...

In looking for a keyword phrase I spotted that a result had two different search analysis results because of an S being on the end of a phrase.

For example

Dog versus Dogs

If I have Dogs in my URL, will google still consider me optimized for the keyword phrase Dog?

Ideally I would like my URL to be optimized for both a phrase in plural and in singular.

Thanks
Derrick

Why not just register the plural also and make one of them the main domain name and the other parked on the server redirected to the main domain name ??

I prefer to always go with plural when possible...

Same here. Go for plural also. Most people searched with the s.

You will receive favoritism in the search engine if your domain name contains the keyword(s) your targeting. Regarding the plural issue, it depends on which version receives the most search volume and the # of competition.

If the non-plural version of the keyword has the most search volume then that's the one I'm going to target and vice versa.
