Transferring aweber email lists

Is there a way to transfer aweber lists if you're buying a business that has a list you need?

(1) if they are managed on aweber, you can transfer them, contact support

(2) if they are not managed by aweber yet, it depends on how they were "collected" (if collected and not double-optin - nearly no chance)

(3) in most cases, if you don't buy the whole business of course, people have to confirm subscription again

That's afaik - I would simply ask them via live support, hope it helps to have an idea in advance though.
