Default Squeeze Page or Salesletter?

Another question for you warriors,

In your experience did you find if you have a video squeeze page that re-directs to your salesletter a decrease in conversion rates?

Reason why I am asking is because I am currently using UFA on my salesletter and I'm getting a opt in rate of around 4-5%.

I know if I put in a video squeeze page then it redirects to my salesletter I will get a higher opt in rate of at-least 80%.

My main source of traffic right now is PPC, and although my site seems to convert at 3-5% on average (sale wise not opt in), I feel I can get a better "bang of my buck" if I collect the e-mails of all my visitors.

Do you think I should have a video squeeze page -> salesletter or is having a salesletter with UFA good enough (especially since having a video squeeze page may egg off some affiliates?)

make more sales if i drive traffic to a Salesletter.
more opt its if you drive to a squeeze page.

if you want more sales = drive to a sales letter and exit pop to capture page with a Better offer

Vice versa if you want more opt ins

First of all: What is "UFA"?

Now, onto your question: as someone who also promotes via PPC, I always drive traffic through a squeeze page first. Why? because it's difficult to get a sale off a one-time visitor. However, if you create a 5-day follow up sequence pin-pointing the different benefits of your product, it's easier to "convince" that person that your product is what they need.

Plus you'll be able to market affiliate offers down the road too.

The key of course if creating a killed video on the squeeze page so you don't give up on too many PPC visitors. But at any rate creating a mailing list beats one-off conversions.

For me i think its more worthwhile capturing their email address, because if they dont purchase straight away you can build a relationship with these ppl through the follow up mails, they will then trust you ad be more willing to buy.

I have been using UFA myself for quite a while now because i like the style/look etc but to be honest, I could never get even close to the conversion rate that they talk about about.

Thats why for me, its capture the emails first and foremost,

Best of luck

Hi

Yes you need to use a squeeze page or the 2 step order process, as you can market to your subscribers over and over again! The list is the longterm success of your business and gives you financial security in the longterm!

1) Squeeze page

A lot is being said on this subject... using all different kinds of elements on your squeeze page (video, animated video, ecover, bullet points etcetera)

The one squeeze page that is being touted by one of the best list building marketers online looks like this home

I tested it myself and it is true, also my best converting squeeze. The less you have on your squeeze page the better. So no video, no bullet points etc works better!!!

2) 2 step order process

Instead of using a squeeze page, as you said that your conversions are better that way, you use the 2 step order process.

Really simple, just add a page in between your salesletter and the payment processing page. So you have the header as 'Step 1 order process' or something like that...

Here they fill in email, name and other details you wish and then click for step 2, which will see them going to the payment processing details page.

So it doesn't look like a squeeze page, people don't feel that they need to provide their email address to get to your main page etc.

The other good thing is that a lot of people (if you look at your stats you will agree - about 90%) that go to your paymet page, don't pay but leave that page... so this way you get thjose email adresses too and convince them down the road to buy from you!

Hope that helps

Yours sincerely
