Default Anyone part of too many affiliate programs?

Hey, you know an issue that I am facing lately is that I am a part of too many programs out there. Here are some stuff I am a part of an have to promote:

- at least 20 different traffic exchanges, 2 safelists and 10 ptc sites
- at least 30 different affiliates from linkshare
- at least 84 different affiliates from commission junction
- global domains international (along with gdibuzz, the spider web system and acme people search)
- more than 6000 different links to promote from clickbank (comes with the storefront you get from cbproads)
- social networking sites including Myspace, Yuwie, Zenzuu, Hub Pages, Squidoo, Twitter and Myspace
- several blogs (including a few on blogspot and wordpress.org)
- 2 safelists (namely the list auction and hotspotmailer)

Just out of curiosity, are any of you a part of too many programs too? If so what do you do about the extra programs. I would commit to working online at a full time basis, but I do have 2 day jobs and plus I have yet to break at least $1000 per month working online (won't commit to full time work online without making at least $10,000 per month). I started shedding a few programs I am a part of (such as several traffic exchanges that I don't use very often). Any advice on what to do about the extra programs would be helpful.

Just because you're an affiliate for something doesn't mean you have to promote it. Are any of these programs or products making you money? If so, focus on them and increase your efforts. Or pick the ones with the best potential return and give them your attention. Ignore the rest for a while.

What Gail told here is a great idea. Focus on some of them that making you money recently and in stable state. The rest, ignore it for a while. Or, if you have some extra money, outsource it. That what I do. But, I always remember what my mom told me,"Everything that seem too much is not good." For me,"Too much and too little is not good."

I second this advice. Concentrate on the activities that give you the best returns.

I've lost count of the things I've signed up for over the years. Many of those were quick-hit type sign-ups. I needed something to fit a given project, and once the project was done, I had no further interest. I didn't do it as part of a long time plan. I did it to fill in a gap in content or provide a resource. Any money that came back was a bonus.

Funny thing is, though, every once in a while one of those bonuses drops in my lap.

The list in your OP would keep a decent staff busy, much less a one-man band with two "real" jobs...
