First of all, I know this is completely relevant and %100 depends on you, but I'm just curious to know other people's experienced in adsense and blogging. we are all hoping to generate decent revenue in shortest time possible. I just would like to know from "experts" how long it takes them(you) to have decent revenue from Adsense? If you wonder why I'm asking, my reason is I will make it as a time frame for my blog ... ps: lets say decent revenue is $100/day |

Wish I could tell you, but my avenue is not adsense and blogging! There are so many avenues dude. If you want to make 100 a day, I suggest testing a good amount of them that make sense to you out! Cheers. |

it depends on how long it takes you to find a good method which you take action upon and continue to use in the long run. therefore, this is something that varies with each and every person, in my opinion.

Adsense and blogging is dangerous. Why? You're at the mercy of another business' terms of service. Please don't consider this as your only revenue source just starting out, as Google has been infamous for shutting down successful Adsense accounts for what seems like absolutely no reason whatsoever. And it would certainly suck to have everything going oh so well and then generate a 5 figure income, quit your job and be ready for the internet lifestyle, only to have it all evaporate within 2 weeks because big G shut down your account. It sounds like such a good idea; build traffic, when they leave they have to click somewhere, the visitor might as well have some Adsense to click on. My suggestion to you is, set up a blog and keep the Adsense concept in mind but find something else besides Adsense to put on the page. Otherwise you may find yourself in the same boat as many a former Adsense Warrior member who woke up one day and found their account gone due to the whims of a fickle Google. Consider putting affiliate links on the page as well, and consider many different things (possible other programs) all related to the topic you are building your blog on. It's a more long-term strategy that leaves you in more control and allows you to avoid putting all your eggs in the Google-gravy-train basket. You may think, "but they won't shut my account down." But being a Warrior who has been here for quite some time, I cannot TELL you how many times we have seen other Warriors who were doing well have it all evaporate due to a fickle Google. And the thing is, the email that told them the gig was up didn't even tell them enough to help them figure out what was wrong. Don't get me wrong; the concept is really good. Just don't get addicted to only Adsense income. I'm not a lawyer, I'm not a guru, but I've seen it more than once and just wanted to prevent some possible pain in the future. |

I find it very difficult to make money from adsense and i would say just have that as one of your incomes on your blogs. I have around 100 blogs that each make around $1 a day each from adsense. The main way to monitise your blogs is to link them to a niche relative to the content on your blog and link to an affiliate product on clickbank or paydot.com or commission junction If you can set your blog up to have 3 different income streams: 1) Adsense 2) clickbank 3) commission junction So you could easily have a blog that makes $1 a day from Adsense, and $50 a day from clickbank. Create say 10 blogs and you could make $500 a day once you have good traffic and a reader base for your blogs. There are loads of resources on this forum to help set this up. You will be onto a winner eventually |
