How can I see "USA" search results from google?

I'm in the UK and promoting a USA only offer.

At the moment I'm doing some keyword research but whenever I type it into google.com, google reverts to google.co.uk and shows some hefty authority sites (which have nothing to do with niche).

Just because of the nature of those sites (Very, very UK-centric with a .co.uk url) I don't think they'll show up to US searchers.

Basically, how can I see what someone in the US will see when they type a term into google?

Thanks

In Google's homepage, somewhere below you should find something like "Google.com in English..." or "Go to Google.com..."

        Go here:

Just remove the quotes. ''ncr" means non country redirect.

You can also set your home page to the same:

    Thanks

Even when it stays google.com there seem to be an awful lot of co.uk and org.uk's in the search rankings making my sure that what I'm seeing isn't the same as someone in say DC would see...

any ideas how to get round this?

    Hi Topher

I am in the UK too. Is it possible for you to switch to the google.com (below the search bar you should see a option 'go to google.com)

When i type in goolge.com in address bar it converts to google.co.uk - but if you look a little lower you see 'Go To Google.com

That will give you more US based search results (don't use the optio directly below search bar - that still gives an incorrect result)

And when you do US keyword research make sure to change the country to United States too

And set it to 'exact match' and then use the colomn for 'local searches' for your monthly searches inm the US (but you probably did that anyway)

    Hope that helps

it's simple. I this one I always do to check site rankings in US searches.

for US results, simply type in your browser Google -- that's www (dot) google (dot) us.

For other countries, I guess it's basically the same. If you want to see google results in UK then simply look for the proper google domain.

    All the best,

Omar that won't show the ads available in the US or other country, you still get your local ads appear

I use extensively Google Global plugin during my research for affiliate niches. Excellent plugin, and it's the thing that OP needs.

    google.com/search?q="your+keyword"&gl=us

Replace your keyword with your keyword. Remove quotes if you want general results...

You could head on over to proxy.org and pick a proxy server in the US.
