Haven't been happy with what I've found so far. Been using Twitterfeed but don't like how it posts to my FB account. Looks funky. Got any suggestions? All suggestions are welcome! Thanks! |

Tweetdeck appears to be doing pretty good. I only just started playing with it, but I like it so far and it does integrate FB.

Thanks for the suggestion! I like using HootSuite for my tweeting. Used to use TweetDeck, but I'm not crazy about using a separate, offline client for tweeting. Keep 'em coming, folks!

I control my posting to both Facebook and Twitter through my WordPress blog. Iuse PingPress.FM plugin and integrate through Ping.FM's service. Through them, you can have pretty tight control of how you post individually through each social site. Basically you map blog categories or tags through the labeling system that Ping.FM uses. Plus, you can actually set templates for each label within the plugin, so I can post to my blog, and I've set it to automatically tweet the subject with a link back to the post, and to post the subject and an excerpt to facebook with a link back. It's snazzy stuff once you figure out how you want it to work and get it all set. WARNING: If you do it this way, you need to use the next oldest version of PingPress.FM because the current one doesn't work with the newest WordPress versions, but the old one does for whatever reason. It's no longer supported by the developer of the plugin, but that's the best most full-featured one I've found for doing what I want it to do. |

Colin, thanks! But I forgot to mention that it's a Blogger blog, so all I'm using is my RSS feed to update my other places. But maybe the regular Ping.fm can help me? Hmmm... |

I just have mine set up the way I do, because the blog is the primary point of content placement, and I actually compose it there because I like to fiddle with all the WordPress knobs and switches. Having a WordPress blog is totally not required to use Ping.FM though. All the plugin is actually doing is using WordPress's engine to send the content over to the Ping.FM service anyway, just as though I'd posted it directly there. Basically just using WordPress's gui to manage what I could di right from Ping.FM. Anyway, hope that helps. I really like Ping's service and I can only assume it's helping me grow my own blog's traffic and circle of influence. It's certainly less work than manually tweeting and Facebook updating. :P PixelPipe is another very similar service to Ping.FM that you can look into as well.

Not being the creator of Ping, I really don't know. However, it may be that it's possible via some usage that I'm just not aware of: Ping.fm / Update all of your social networks at once! They would know far better than I. ![]() Just off the top of my head: Technically yes, because I know blogger can be set to email out when you post, and you could just fire those at your Ping.FM posting address. However, I don't know how Ping.FM will format that email and you don't have a lot of control over that process as far as templates. (that's why that feature of the PingPress plugin is so handy). If you weren't on blogger, but on WordPress, then yes - what you want is possible because that's exactly what I do. Not only that, I can tweet and update facebook, etc. from my blog's posting interface without actually having those posts have to appear on the blog itself. Not to brag, I was just pleased with myself for hacking that together. :P Anyways, if you actually get hands on with it and want some help tweaking, let me know. Otherwise, that's pretty much the extent of my available advice about Ping. I use it for what I use it for and it works like a champ. I haven't honestly fully explored what else I COULD be doing with it. But if you find some neat tricks I haven't mentioned, let me know, lol. |

Here is a great one and it is already a facebook app ... Su.pr - Drive More Traffic with Your Short URLs! Gives you stats and everything, a great deal better than ping.fm but it is limited to twitter and facebook and stumbleupon (It is stumbleupon's app) ... James |

I like ping.fm. Another tool to consider would be friendfeed.com I use them to automatically tweet several of my properties from stumbleupon, my blog, my google reader shared documents, and more. I think it even integrates with ping.fm but dont quote me on that. |
