Can The "Clickbank Problem" Be Caused By Affiliate Scripts?

I've just noticed a problem with a certain (popular) Clickbank affiliate script which I've been using. It doesn't always track my hoplink. The payment page shows another ID. Another newbie affiliate is also facing the same problem.

Do you think this could be one of the causes of the infamous Clickbank tracking problem?

        There HAVE been programs that worked like that. Wasted? NO! They are used to pay for the program so you get it for "free".

      I don't want to mention the name of the script here, it's not good karma, I'd rather contact the owner directly and privately. Anyway I've managed to get it working but another affiliate I know is still having problems.
