Free Hosted Blogs

If I create a free blog at blogger.com and use it for purely backlinking purposes. Do I get some added link juice since it's a subdomain of blogger.com or will my subdomain blog count as brand new and won't give much link juice?

I use blogger blogs in my linkwheels and they serve their purpose of backlinking, and of course in affiliate commissions.
