I have made several Hubpages and Squidoo lenses in the past, and I know that you can submit them to Digg.
My question is, when you update a hub or lens, do you resubmit to Digg? I have been wondering about this for a few days, and I knew some of you Warriors would know the answer. I don't want to resubmit to places where I shouldn't! Thanks for any help

If it is something like a wordpress blog where I can have several pages, I will submit each page to some of the social bookmarking sites, but because Squidoo is every only one page really, I only submit it once. | |

Thanks Jeremy - that's me. I do submit my new blog posts occasionally, but wasn't sure about the Squidoo and Hubpages thing. I do ping them, though, just like I do my blog.
Thanks again! |

This is what I do for my Squidoo lenses, just to keep some juice flowing to them that builds up over time.
I will create an easy to set up blog somewhere like blogger and every time I add content to my Squidoo lens I will write a summary on Blogger linking back to my squidoo with a slight variation of anchor text. I choose blogger to do this because many other places like hubpages or wordpress (free) will shut down your page due to the fact you have too many outbound links. |

Good idea! Then do you link to your blog at all, through articles, etc. or just ping it and go on? I'm GREAT at writing articles, but all this linking from here to there to yonder is new to me.
I have read that linking from your articles to your blog, from your blog to your Hub and Lens, from your hubs and Lenses back to your blogs and articles creates "link juice", but it sure sounds like it could get confusing, especially when you write alot of articles as I do. Does all this really give traffic a boost? |

To prevent myself from getting too confused, I focus on one thing at at a time. I try to get 100 inbound links to each new thing I start whether it is a blog, lens, hub, etc. Once I do that, I move on to the next thing.

I have read elsewhere in this forum, where a guy pings his blogs every 30 mins. is this any good.

No, I'm not in PWM. In fact, I don't even know what that means!
Could someone explain? Maybe I'm having a "duh" moment
