I would not waste my time on digg. There's no harm in digging your article, but trying to get it to the index page is not easy and (generally) not worth the effort. Spend your time on SEO instead..

I second that. I submit to social pages and through Clipit which leads to Digg as well as other sites.

I think, you've good experience with social bookmarking. Have you idea about "building friendships with other memebers" is it useful or wasting of time due to the dedication it requires?
