Ok Guys, so the title gives it away but this is a strategy that really makes me smile . Its not exactly going to make you millions, but I know people who make a living from doing this sort of thing. Its because, it never fails to amaze me, how many times people cannot spell their item properly on ebay. Its rediculous, as most people type in the correct spelling and will never see your product. That means that the auction value will not go up and so you can come in there and get an absolute bargain. A few savvy people who realise the mistake that careless ebayers make, buy their product for dirt cheap and then resell it at the proper market value literally within 10 minutes of having bought it. To be even more cheeky, you can avoid to do any shipping at all by asking the original person you bought it from, to send it to the person who just bought it! In essence they would be doing your dropshipping. And if you dont believe that people mispell really top notch item then just go to the website Missing-Auctions and type in "playstation 3" and it will automatically find all the products out there on ebay that are mispelled. Its a great tool, and if your not looking to make money form this, at least you can use it to get your christmas presents on the cheap this year!! Would love to hear your thoughts on this. |

Hello, many Ebay sellers post items in the wrong categories. I have bought some super collectibles from other Ebay sellers mistakes. |

Very cool! I tried to capitalize on this in the past, but didn't have a good way to come up with common ebay mis-spellings. The resource you suggested, missing-auctions looks pretty cool. Time to dig in! Matt |
