Any recommendations for good free marketing tools please

Hi,

Im writing an article aimed at newbies for starting up an online business on a budget. Any pointers for good, reliable free or very low cost software, domain names,hosting etc would be appreciated. I am recommending a few I have used myself but haven't got time to try everything available. So any recommendations from anyone who has used a good product would be really helpful.

I would recommend social marker for bookmarking, bit.ly for link cloaking, tubemogul for video submission, and google analytics for traffic tracking

I can recommend Ezinearticles, tubemogul for video, onlywire for bookmarking, huitter and Socialoomph for twitter and free ebooks for learning about IM.

Thanks, especially for the twitter stuff, something I'm not into too much yet much, to the dismay of most people I know!!

for domains godaddy has got a sale for 1.99 domains you just need to put in the code GEO199.<b />and you can get market samurai, the keyword tool for free in the trial version.

Almost forgot CamStudio.org (free) and Camtasia Studio (30 day free trial)

Oh and of course the Firefox browser with plenty of useful addons (age)
