Hi Warriors:
Hoping that someone can help. I am looking for videos or clear instructions (pdf file ETC) on how to install a custom blog that includes articles, plugins, images etc on wordpress using filezilla or similiar ftp client. I checked youtube but I am not getting exactly what I want. I was able to create the addon domain, create sql database and I tried to upload the rest of folders. However, when I enter my domain name in google, I am getting a 500 Internal Server. G.i.gg.L.E |

You can get the info from Wordpress.org
Search there and you will find an answer. Also you can get support from wordpres support Forums. Installing WordPress WordPress Codex |

Your title is confusing, sorry.
You do NOT install a blog on WordPress. You install the (blogging) script called WordPress and downloaded from wordpress.ORG to your own hosting service/server. That is the only time when you need to use a FTP client: to upload the WP files. The installed blog will be empty. Nothing on it, just a "Hello, World!" sample post. Then you build your blog: adding posts, Pages. From the admin panel. Not via FTP. HTH |

Giggle - if your webhost provides fantastico of install central (I think that's what it's called) you can install WP from there in a couple of clicks. You'll find them in cpanel
