I don't want to doubt someone but i see many people offering some services and products which don't add value to their clients or new clients in WF. But still they continue to sell them or promote them. What drives them to do this for long time ? Money? If money then i can understand but for this long time ?
I faced one such situation in offline world where i was asked to sell product which was not good at all. It was not good product and price which was not justifying the quality of product. I refused to promote it. I know it's my loss but perhaps i'm not good marketing person. What you think ? Honesty is better or skill to market low-quality product matters ? What is important in marketing ? |

it is quite possible that your opinion doesn't count...
and I don't mean this in a bad way. I have looked at products before that I thought were junk, but others thought they were terrific. Remember the "pet rock"? |

You can only be responsible for yourself and your own conscience. There are some who will promote junk products just to get a fast buck and there always will be. And as winebuddy pointed out, one man's junk is another man's treasure.

Yes winebuddy, i even thought about that then i sorted some programs by looking at member's response to check is it me or everyone. In this case i'm talking about those products which don't stand for long and the product creator runs away after sometime by leaving members and affiliates in dark. Me and subscribed members feel the same, so the product creator/launcher is selling the stuff and getting away.
So is it wise to support such product and close and shift to another product when product creator runs away ? Or choose honest with affiliate marketing ? |

Congrats on doing what you feel is right.
That's important. Bottom line.. you're the one who's responsible for your own happiness. If you're selling a product that you feel bad about and it's hard to sleep at night. Stop selling it and find something better. There's plenty of good stuff out there. |

What might not seem like a quality product to you will seem like a quality product to someone else.
I strongly believe that you should not market a product for the sake of marketing it, you should market products that you yourself believe in and you will generate more business that way. If you don't have any belief in a particular product, move on to the next until you do find a product you feel that it really does benefit every individual you put it in front of. |

In the long run I would think if someone is promoting products that don't really benefit the buyers it will catch up with them and their business will eventually suffer for it. If they are building a list and always marketing products that aren't worthwhile I would think those buyers will stop being customers. But then again, you never know what people are looking for.
I guess in the end each one of us has to decide what we can live with doing or not doing. Peter |

That is very good point dean. I can understand the view of rights here. I made this topic just to know how people think about real bad products out there & how they think people should deal with it.
