Just Paid In My First Clickbank Cheque!

I'm pleased to start a thread for the first time... and it's with such good news for me obviously.
Over the moon to get my first ever online sales and I have just had a cheque for the princely sum of $110.16 drop onto my door mat. I can't describe the feeling of logging into Clickbank and seeing the sales snap shot telling me that I had made my first few sales, it's an incredible feeling.
I did it using the Frank Kern and Trey Smith 'Screw Google' PPC technique.
It's the first real thing I've done online aside from a little domain name speculation and I can see how this making money thing can become very addictive. How much I spent on PPC to get to this point though is another matter, (it was enough!) but it works, you can get sent money while you sit around in your under pants, and I'm a PPC newbie. Still got a lot to learn though about optimising my campaigns etc. Exciting times for me though.

Actually paying the cheque in was a bit of a drama though. Clerk had to fill in two bits of a4 paper, I had to sign the cheque, then he had to photocopy it, then photo copy my signature, then get a colleague to verify he had done all of this... bloody nightmare. (not to mention the fee of £10 for paying in a foreign currency cheque.)

It's all a learning process for me though. Just wanted to tell someone other than my g/f. Thanks for listening folks.

Funny about the hassle though, my bank (HSBC) just takes the cheque & gives me a recipt... decent sized branch though

Congrats man! Making that first check feels so good! It's like getting your first paycheck as a kid after mowing a lawn and then dreaming about all those future lawns and paychecks to come.

Cheques are annoying, get past that stage so you can just do a direct deposit and avoid all of this! Hopefully you can do that within a month or less, because it really is just annoying.

They used to hold my cheques saying that it was from the USA bla bla bla, they wouldn't cash it right away, and still not even a week later. I think the wait was 12+ days. That was just irritating, even though they were listed as my employer with my bank.

I didn't get my first sales through a PPC, but if you did this all on your own, and without a mentor, then you should get a round of applause! cheez. I had someone baby feeding me telling me what to do. (Thanks Mentor!)...

They're sending my first cheque/check on Wednesday for $170, can't wait to get it. They take £10 out eh? I was hoping it'd be less than that, oh well

Gratz, i've not had a check yet only had 2 sales so far, but it is very exciting. I did'nt realize there was a chrge for paying in a foreign currency check. dam!

congrats

i had a 50 dollar credit for adwords and used it to get my first cheque. i got like $160 and cashed it at wal mart, but not without having to explain to the curious wal mart lady what clickbank was.

I thought I had it made with my completely lucky profitible ppc campaign, turns out after putting another $100 into I lost $70. ah well.

A cheque is a great motivational tool when photo-copied and placed on your wall. Just look at it frequently to regain that great feeling!
