Hey my name is Charles and I am kinda of new to the im business. I had a quick question though. If you create a review site do you create subdomains for all the reviews or do the posts in the main domain?
One other thing can a post on a wordpress rank for a keyword. For example: I did a post on weight loss but my domain is a review site. So would that post get one the first page on google for that keyword if I got backlinks? |

Hey Charles, typically review sites have comparison reviews of like the three "top" products within that niche.
If your URL has the keyword in there it should be able to rank, I've seen it happen before haha Good luck with the IM business, it's a shark tank out there

Hey Charles,
Glad to meet you. My name is Randy Thomas. Anyway, to answer your question... I have seen where using sub-domains can be of help because you can enter the keyword in the sub part, ie... if the keyword is weight loss you could use weightloss.yourdomain.com that can get indexed by google. Just don't get carried away with the use of sub-domains, and point them all to your root index file. Yes, posting in blogs will get you ranked in google and bing, just use the keyword in the post. However, I have to say, for the sake of the blog owner, make your post worth while. Just posting for the back link is kind of rude, so at least read some of their blog and make a good post to them ![]() Sincerely, Randy Thomas |

Yes a post on a wordpress blog can rank for a keyword. Just make sure you have the keyword in the title of the post.
If you are going to create alot of reviews than you could have one subdomain for all of the reviews. |

Then write those articles. Make all the sub-domains point to the main index file in your directory, meaning, they would all point to the same place. So each article would be indexed by google and bing and point to your main website. I may have been confused, if I was, I am sorry ![]() Sincerely, Randy Thomas | |

Actually I have a review site that I just started I wanted to know if doing posts on them to get indexed would be the better option over having many subdomains. Leading to the same the main site.

Yes in that case, I believe doing posts would be the best option.
