Default eBook Collecting Dust!

Before I knew anything at all about IM (which still isn't much), I heard about ebooks. I got the idea in my head that all you had to do was write an ebook, start a clickbank account, put it on a website, and voila...instant riches! Of course I know now that it isn't that easy, but at the time, I decided to write my book.

I wrote a book called Prosperity Through Positive Thinking, bought the domain name, got a clickbank account, and started the site. I then started on my second product, which is the one I'm concentrating on now (AV Etiquette), and put the positive thinking thing on the back burner. So, I've got this ebook that I put a lot of work into and think is very helpful, but I'm doing nothing with it.

Is there anything I can do with this ebook to get some use out of it? Even though the prosperity niche may be very competitive, I would eventually like to get into it. I've been into self-improvement books for years, and I think I'm pretty knowledgeable about it. But until then, what should I do with my ebook? Anything?

Thanks,
T.R.

You could print it out and sell it on EBAY....

Give it away free on a squeeze page to build your list.

Give it away to other gurus so they can use it as a bonus on their thank you page.

Sell it on ebay as a disc through the mail...I've been doing this with a couple of my IM products and making about $750-$1000 month

You could give it away in your signature in the forums you visit in hope of making people want to learn more from you.

You could give it away in free book forums to drive traffic to another page.

To name a few

Cash In On The Foreclosure Crisis with this GNARLY Foreclosure Prevention PLR Package....

do some videos promoting the ebook and site and distribute them with tubemogul.

hire a copyrighter to redo your sales page.

Put up another page with an optin form and give away your first few chapters free. Build a list. Then sell the rest of the book to the list after building a relationship with them.

You could make it a DVD or CD and sell the book for $1 .. and then say and by the way if you want the DVD/CD it's $27 $47 $97 whatever as an upsell

You could just push traffic to it and sell it as it is..

My site that has nothing to do with Internet Marketing

Don't click it you'd be wasting your time.

Maybe you could read some of the stuff in the book to get on track, after all, it's a prosperity book, right?

Participate in a giveaway event, as jukeboxhero suggested. The other participants will leverage your effort but you'll have to have something else ready to benefit from the promotion.

Here's a great post you might want to check out.

This Warrior got plenty of mileage from an eBook he had already sitting on his hard drive, maybe this could give you a few ideas:
