I don't think one exists... How about watching some TV, listening to English music and reading free articles to improve English for the long run?

Befriend a native and talk to him.. You'd sure pick up good grammar and some slang from him.

No, I'm not talking some theoretical crap... I had terrible English few years ago and I improved it, upto an extent.

Sumit.

PS. You might ot wanna listen to Country Music.

Do you have MS Word? It flags the misspellings with a red underline and flags the grammer mistakes with a green underline.

Hi Pradeep,

If you are writing content and you want to check for grammar, you can download the free software call Open Office.

There is one application call Open Office writer that works like Microsoft Word. You can paste your content there and it will checks the grammar withing the content.

I hope my humble contribution helps

Zack

I don't think there is any free grammar checker, but I use whitesmoke, which is paid software, but very powerful tools!

Started out in IM about 3 months ago. Got sidetracked by rubbish and got serious about 3 weeks ago. I only use the free spelling and grammar check from Word as posted above. So after 15 pages of content and 45 articles later - all of the articles accepted - no problems. Just right click on the red or green underlined text and it will show you the correct spelling or grammar to use. Then use Copyscape, very cheap to buy credits and check for duplicate article content. Works well. No need to check for duplicate content on sites because the google penalty for duplicate content on sites is a complete myth. But try to make it unique as it will rank quicker then.

Don't have any idea of a grammar check software. I guess you can use ms word for that.

Hey Pradeep, this "spellchecker/grammar check" actually checks the writing of a sentence, and will not only let you know about spelling-mistakes, but it will also notify you of any mis-proper use of grammar as well:

"SpellCheckPlus" Online Spelling and Grammar Checker (for English as a Second Language)

Sumit,

Excellent advice, except for this part...

That might not be the best way to learn the language.

I had the strangest image flash through my brain at that suggestion. David Allan Coe, playing a sitar and singing "If That Ain't Country" with an Indian accent.
