Default How To Mask Links?

I have seen it before a few times. I go to a website like this:

www.domain_name.com/product_name

Then I quickly notice the product is an affiliate product, often one at clickbank. I tried to do this by the following steps:

1) View source on my affiliate link
2) Copy and paste source at Nvu editor
3) Save it and upload to my website with FileZila

Unfortunately, when I do that it copies all the words but the graphics are stored in a different server, so all the graphics are missing.

What am I missing? Am I doing something wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand your post correctly what you are referring to are redirects. Look up 301 redirect in your favorite search engine

(Personally I use the gocodes WordPress plugin with the .htaccess modified so that anything after /recommends/ in my links is actually a redirect to the affiliate link)

Hi, I get the link from clickbank, then buy a domain (from godaddy) paste the link into the domain and enable forwarding and masking, works ok for me.

Hi Mate,

You can use this link cloaker for that.
Click-2-Cloak

That way you have it hosted on your own site.

It cloaks and uploads the page for you in one hit.

Take Care,

Michael Silvester

Be sure you check your links after you redirect them to make sure your cookies are not being stripped. A lot of freebies don't really work properly.
