Default Burning Questions For Experienced Warriors.

As a new member in the Warrior Forum I have a few questions for the more experienced warriors here that I would really appreciate knowing.

Who should I get to know?
It seems to me that the more thanks people have received in their profiles in relation to the number of posts that they posted, means they gave more value to the forum. Is this correct?

Is this a forum that would be a good place to build a list? And if so, whatīs the best way to go about it?

What is something this forum needs that would really be of value and get a good response? Thereīs no point in offering just another offer out of the 1000īs of offers. What does this group need most?

What would be the best way to discover the needs of the forum?

People seem very knowlegable here and Iīm learning alot. I do have some experience marketing but the knowlege base here seems very strong?

Are there new people here to market to or is there something seasoned warriors could use help with that I may be able to help with?

Thereīs no sigfile in my profile because Iīm not here to market just yet but eventually I would like to. Does not having a sigfile at the moment appear amateurish? Or is it O.K.?

Thatīs it for now.
Your comments are appreciated.

Hi Frank,

The following answers are only my opinion.

Who should I get to know?
Your best bet is to read as many posts as you can, and see who you think you should get to know. The number of thanks may be a general indicator, but isn't the only thing to consider. You also have to look at how you will relate to one another, what your business style is like, and so on.

Is this a forum that would be a good place to build a list? And if so, whatīs the best way to go about it?
Yes. You can build a huge list here. The best way to go about it?

#1 - Offer plenty of value in exchange for people's e-mail addresses.

#2 - Set up a free WSO where people have to opt in to get it.

#3 - Make sure you do #1.

What is something this forum needs that would really be of value and get a good response? Thereīs no point in offering just another offer out of the 1000īs of offers. What does this group need most?
Sorry, but this is one thing you will have to explore yourself. Look for what questions people are asking and answer them. Look for what problems they're having and solve them. Over time, the needs of Warriors change, so it's up to you to stay on top of it for best results.

What would be the best way to discover the needs of the forum?
See answer above. (Just keep participating in the Warrior community).

People seem very knowlegable here and Iīm learning alot. I do have some experience marketing but the knowlege base here seems very strong?
We all have different strengths, and I'm sure there are plenty of things related to marketing that you are better at than me and other Warriors.

Are there new people here to market to or is there something seasoned warriors could use help with that I may be able to help with?
Easy answer: Are you new here? Would you buy something if you thought it would help?

Also, established Warriors always need help with something. But, again, you will have put time in here to discover what it is that you can help them with.

Thereīs no sigfile in my profile because Iīm not here to market just yet but eventually I would like to. Does not having a sigfile at the moment appear amateurish? Or is it O.K.?
It depends what your sig would say. Example: If you claim to be an expert on the Warrior Forum, and you are asking questions about the forum, then that sig would look amateurish.

Hope that helps, and...

All the best,
Michael

@Michael Oksa
Thanks Michael. This was a very old post I made over a year ago and your advice was dead on.
