My favorite is www.BigStockPhoto.com . It's true you can get images for as low as $1 each, but if you buy them single, then they'll cost ya $2.50 each. Some more alternatives (I have used them all with no problems): dreamstime.com 123rf.com fotolia.com (All are similar to istockphoto and all are a little cheaper.) |

If you go to Creative Commons Search you can find images with creative commons licenses. You can search by the kind of licence you require. So you can search for only images which allow you to modify them AND use them for commercial purposes if you want.
